Jeanne Southern, M.D. has been a part of the Harper Wellness & Rehab team since 2003. She received her medical degree as a general practitioner from Baylor College of Medicine in 1985, and was on faculty there from 1988 to 1996. She also served as the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Texas Chiropractic College from 1996 to 1998. Her clinical experience includes family practice, urgent care, and acute and chronic pain management.
Dr. Southern offers cosmetic injections with Botox, Dysport, Juvederm fillers, Restylane fillers, and Kybella. And she uses Botox in face and underarm skin for excessive sweating. She is also trained in the use of PRP(platelet rich plasma) for deep wrinkles of the face.
Dr. Southern also treats a variety of musculoskeletal problems with Ortho Biologics. These are injectable agents that mimic or enhance the body’s own healing systems. She treats conditions of chronic or recurrent knee pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain with PRP and or Hyaluronic Acid Gel.
